Gear is proud to addresses environmental concerns:

• paper for admin is sourced from recycled supplies
• cartridges for printing are returned for filling
• posters and flyers are printed by a supplier who meets
  recycled or FSC standards
• old flyers are re-used for scrap paper (e.g. guest contacts)
• cleaning paper for the slings is from recycled stock
  (note Castros supply their own paper in the toilets)
• battery equipment is LED or as low powered as possible
• used batteries are recycled in the black box scheme
  (we haven't found that rechargeables last for the club)

Additionally Gear encourages use of public transport where possible
or car-sharing if drivers have spare seats.
